Welcome to Whidbey and Fidalgo Island

Pete became a Realtor® after serving 20 years in the US Navy with over half of his career  as a P-3 Flight Engineer (FE).   He served as Flight Crew with VP-19, VQ-1, and Pacific Missile Test Center (PMTC).

From Guam, Pete went to Navy boot camp on a cold January 1974 in San Diego.  After boot camp, he attended Aviation Electrician's Mate (AE) "A" School at the Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC) Memphis in Millington, TN.  His first tour of duty were with A-6 squadrons (VA-128, VA-196, VA-145) and his last duty was with an EA-6B squadron (VAQ-132); all here at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.  In between, he was in NATTC Memphis, VP-19 in Moffit Field, CA, VQ-1 in Guam, and PMTC in Point Mugu, CA.  In his younger days, Pete's offices were on the flight decks on the USS Enterprise (CVAN-65), USS Ranger (CVA-61), USS Sarratoga (CVA-60), and in the flight stations (cockpit) in the P-3A (Utility/Cargo), P-3C (Anti-Sub Hunter), EP-3B/EP-3E (E-Recon), and RP-3A (RDT&E) aircraft.

Pete came to Oak Harbor in 1974 as an AEAA (AE Airman Apprentice) and left the island with his wife Pat in January 1978 as an AE2 to attend AVI-C7 (aka B School - Advanced Avionics) back at NATTC.  After completing AVI-C7, he received orders and further training to serve as an instructor at the AE "A" School; he served there from the fall of 1978 through winter of 1981.  On a cold January in 1982, he started aircrew training followed by formal P-3 FE school/training.  After his P-3 tours, he came back to the island in 1991 as an AECS (Senior Chief) with Pat and their three children.  He is very proud to have his son serving in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) as Major.

He transferred to the Fleet Reserve (essentially retired) and started his second career in real estate on October 3, 1993.  Having a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree, his options for a second career were plentiful; however, his passion to help people and to spend more time with his family urged him into the real estate profession.

His genuine concern for people has earned him the reputation as the "Realtor of Choice" for both Buyers and Sellers.

Pete is a Past President of the Whidbey Island North Association of Realtors® (WINAR) and was the Vice-President of the North Whidbey MLS. WINAR has since merged with the Skagit County Assoc. of Realtors® (SCAR) and formed the North Puget Sound Association of Realtors® (NPSAR).  The North Whidbey MLS became the Whidbey Island MLS before the shift/inclusion into the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.

Pete is long standing member of the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS), the Commercial Broker’s Association (CBA) and CoStar/LoopNet.  He’s also a subscriber in several REO Agent portals (Equator, Aspen iAgent, Hubzu. HUD, MGIC, etc.).

Pete believes that education, ethics, and the desire to "go a step further" is the key to his success. He elected to associate himself with Coldwell Banker® 360 Team for the quality of it's Real Estate Brokers, the unrivaled support of the Firm's Designated Broker, and the powerful corporate support of Coldwell Banker®.
